If you would be interested in joining the team of moderators, comment here or note kerrybush42! Modding involves approving/declining submissions to your gallery and adding the approvals to a spreadsheet so I can keep track. (The spreadsheet bit is technically optional, but I really urge you to do it.)

Moderator perks: Being part of a STELLAR team of moderators/admins and having a say in what goes on in the group in terms of contests, collaborations, etc.!

my new canvasIt wasn't instantaneous. Synapses fought and kept firing. Light, deep and radiant hovered above me. It faded slowly- so slowly and it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. Then came the music. 
The hum of a guitar, one noted being plucked and gliding through the air. A melody that moved in slow waves, undulating, hypnotizing. A pure sense of peace enveloped me, everything warm and tingling.
Time stopped, I think, something changed, a transition. I was in an unfamiliar place but I did not fear it. A giant golden sun hung on the horizon, the landscape painted green and gold. Snowcapped mountains stood tall the distance, a still pool of water at the base. Delicate flowers pale in color were all around me. I hadn't breathed a single breath since opening my eyes- respiration stolen by the ethereal look and feel of this place.  My body completely at ease, my mind crystal clear, I knew this was my home now. I knew there was magic here, and  the ghost womanShe was a shadow
blue eyes blinded by sunrise
light lost long ago  good dream gone bad 
In dreams they come, sweet like honey and shining like the sun;
from light to dark, a nightmare starts and makes me come undone.
